Bangladeshi Horror Story | White Woman On A Tree

45 years ago, people did not use vehicles to move from one place to another. They used to travel far on foot. Moreover, at that time there were not so many vehicles. So even though my aunt's house was in the neighboring area, everyone used to walk from our house. Almost every afternoon, my brother, sister, grandmother, or mother used to visit Aunty's house. One day, my mother cooked something special, which she wanted to send to aunty's house. So she decided to send my elder sister to aunty's house with that food. But my elder sister was young then, she would be 10 years old. It was evening before my mother finished cooking. She thought that it would not be right to send my sister alone to Aunty's house at night. So he asked his grandmother to go with my sister. Grandmother agreed to go with my sister. Here it is necessary to give a description of the route from our house to Aunty's house. From our house, we have to walk through a lane, through the main road, and then cross a railway line. Then walk through 2 more lanes to a canal. There are 2 ways to cross that canal through an iron pool to Aunty's house. One way is to go around the entire canal and enter a lane through the main road, this way takes more time. And the other is the shortcut way. There is a place on one side of the canal where some part of the canal has been filled with rubbish. It was a dumping site. You can go to my aunt's house by crossing that place and entering a lane. As it was night, my grandmother decided to take a shortcut road. That place was full of stench so people did not move much during the day. And it was night, so there were no people around. There was a hundred-year-old banyan tree in that place. Many people in the area knew that the banyan tree was haunted. A large field has been created by leaving the debris there. But that field is surrounded by a wall. And there is a door to go there. From there you have to enter the head and on the other side another similar door exit. But the banyan tree is in the middle of the field, so it can be seen as soon as you enter through the door.

So whenever my elder sister and my grandmother were going to enter through that door, the grandmother said to my sister, 'Don't look at the tree. You will be afraid to see what is there. So, looking at the ground and praying, you will walk straight away. And if anyone calls you from behind, don't turn your back and look. Then it will stiffen your neck. '  Hearing this, my sister was very scared. So she looked down and started walking while praying as grandmother said. But young children are more curious and more people do what is forbidden. So my sister thought to herself that she looked up and saw what grandmother was so afraid of. What you think is what you do. She looked up and saw something white hanging on a branch of a banyan tree. After paying close attention, she realized that it was a girl who was wearing a white dress and was sitting on a branch of a tree. And her legs were so long that they touched the ground. Even though my sister was young, she understood that such long legs could not belong to any human being. The female figure made eye contact with my sister and gave a small smile. Seeing that, my sister started walking more quickly, than grandmother left behind from her. The food bowl was in my sister's hand. After crossing the tree my sister heard the female figure, saying from behind, 'Hey! Where do you go? I'm very hungry, I'll eat whatever you have. Give me the food. ' Then grandmother shouted at my sister, 'Beware! Don't look back. Read the prayer loud. ' Saying this, she herself began to recite prayer aloud. Then the two of them ran and reached Aunty's house. After grandmother went to that house, she told Aunty everything. Hearing all this, my aunt no longer eats that food. Because Satan had an evil eye on it, eating it can cause any harm. Grandmother and my sister did not come home that night, they stayed at Aunty's house.

Later grandmother said that the female figure in the tree was actually a Petni ( a female ghost who used to harm people). If that Petni had found my sister alone on that day, she would have killed her by snapping her neck. But she could not do anything because her grandmother was with her. Everyone in the area knew the place was haunted, so no one used to travel alone at night. And if anyone did, it would have resulted in death. Because many dead bodies were seen in that place in the morning. Those whose necks were broken or have been half-buried in the pile of dirt, with their heads down and their feet up. Who did these murders could not be found out even after investigation. However, in all the murder cases, the police agreed on one thing it was impossible for any human being to commit this murder.
