Bram Stoker's Dracula- Book Review

Book Review:

DRACULA by Bram Stoker

Rating: 5/5

The book follows the diary of a Londoner named Jonathan Harker, in which he writes about a series of harrowing experiences that happened to him. At the beginning of the book, we found that he is admitted to a hospital after suffering terrible mental and physical pain. Jonathan works for a property brokerage firm in London and travels to Transylvania to deliver the property deed to the client. But once there, he witnesses something about his client, Count Dracula, that is horrific, unimaginable, and simply unbelievable. Although the story begins in Transylvania, its influence can be seen gradually in the City of London. Which starts when an unmanned ship docks at the city's port. Suspense builds with Lucy's death and the disappearance of one child after another in the city.

When I first read the book Dracula, I was a school student in class four or five. The descriptions of vampires and their activities in this book are absolutely thrilling. Its background creation is so frightening that it can be said in a word one of the greatest works of horror literature was produced by Bram Stoker, who masterfully conjured the nightmare world of vampires. After that, I read many more books in the vampire genre, but I have never been so scared after reading any other book. Maybe it's because of its beautiful plot arrangement and visual presentation of the story. Especially the name Count Dracula is a name of Big horror since childhood for me. Bram Stoker has written such a book with readers of all ages in mind that even after being an adult, I felt the same thrill after reading this same book several times. It's an evergreen book to me. This book is a great accumulation of suspense, exciting action, and super horrific. Using letters, diary entries, and other types of writing, Bram Stoker expertly set the proper balance between each of the primary characters.

This book has helped me a lot to become a book lover in my personal life. It fueled my desire to become a writer. I always recommend this book to readers of all ages. Other books by Bram Stoker that I recommend are Dracula's Guest, The Jewel of Seven Stars, The Lair of the White Worm, etc.
